I honestly can't say enough good things about this flat iron. I have been stoked to receive it since I agreed to review it in exchange for my honest unbiased opinion. I did not have a 1" straighter so this was perfect. I love how they made it a user friendly. The cord is on a swivel so that it won't get tangled up, it makes it so much easier to maneuver. It has a velcro strip attached to it for easily keeping it neat when not in use. The plates them self are ceramic. The on/off switch is located on the inside so there seems to be no way you can accidentally hit it while in use. You can also use this flat iron to make beautiful curls. I can't seem to get it together yet but with practice I'll be a master in no time. It heats up quick so you don't have to wait around all day. I am impressed with this item and would recommend it to anyone. It left my hair nice and shiny and it didn't look dry or damaged at all. I hope this iron lasts me a very long time.
